KAICO Begins Full-Scale Expansion into the Taiwan Market for “KAICO Powder for Pig”
Signs Distributorship Agreement with Reber Genetics and Initiates Product Registration in Taiwan
KAICO Ltd. (Headquarters: Fukuoka, Japan; CEO: Kenta Yamato, hereinafter “KAICO”) is pleased to announce that it has signed a Distributorship Agreement with Reber Genetics (Headquarters: Taipei, Taiwan; Chairman: Sunny Kang, hereinafter “Reber”), a Taiwanese animal health company, for the commercialization of its proprietary functional feed additive for pigs, KAICO Powder for Pig (hereinafter “KAICO Powder”).
Under this agreement, Reber will serve as KAICO’s commercial partner in Taiwan and will lead market development and future sales activities. In parallel, both companies have initiated the product registration process for KAICO Powder as a feed additive in Taiwan.
This agreement follows the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed between the two companies in March 2026 and represents an important milestone toward commercialization in the Taiwanese market.

Expansion into the Taiwan Market and Collaboration with Reber Genetics
Taiwan has approximately 5.2 million pigs in production, making the swine industry one of the country’s most important livestock sectors.
In recent years, the industry has faced growing demand for improved production efficiency and more advanced disease management solutions, creating strong demand for innovative technologies that can reduce labor burden while supporting stable and efficient livestock production.
Building on the product registration and commercial experience established in Vietnam, KAICO will now advance product registration for KAICO Powder in Taiwan while simultaneously establishing its local distribution and sales framework.
Reber, KAICO’s local partner, operates in Taiwan’s animal health sector and has established a strong commercial network within the swine industry. The company also possesses extensive expertise in regulatory registration, commercialization of veterinary products, and livestock-related product distribution.
Under this agreement, both companies will work together on product registration, distribution channel development, and commercial launch preparation with the goal of introducing KAICO Powder to the Taiwanese market.
By combining their respective strengths, KAICO and Reber aim to contribute to improved productivity and more sustainable swine production in Taiwan.
Future Outlook
In September 2024, KAICO successfully completed product registration for KAICO Powder in Vietnam and has since begun commercial activities in the market.
In Thailand, KAICO is currently conducting field demonstration trials in collaboration with leading swine company AMCOVET.
With this new distributorship agreement, KAICO is further accelerating the establishment of its business foundation across Asia through the following regional strategy:
- Vietnam: Product registration completed and commercial sales underway
- Thailand: Field demonstration trials in progress
- Taiwan: Product registration and commercial launch preparation underway
Going forward, KAICO will continue expanding its international presence across Asia while developing and commercializing innovative solutions that improve productivity and support the long-term sustainability of the livestock industry.
