KAICO is a bio-startup launched in April 2018 from Kyushu University with the mission of “Chang the world with silkworms.” Our goal is to deliver hard-to-express proteins produced by silkworms as pharmaceuticals, diagnostic agents, and reagents to the world. Our core technology lies in the ability to produce proteins freely within silkworms. Together with our pharmaceutical company partners and others, we are taking on the challenge of new drug development.
